TESSA successful in bid to the Mental Health Fund!

On Saturday 26th March, 2022, TESSA Project Coordinator, Roxanne Small, Family Routes Board Member, Oliver Johnston, and Family Routes administrator, Marie Walker, met with the Health Minister for Northern Ireland, Robin Swann, to be presented with an award of funding from the Department of Health’s Mental Health Fund.

We are absolutely delighted to have received this funding from the Mental Health Fund. This money will be used to fund our new TESSA Teens service; a post-adoption therapeutic service solely devoted to meeting the needs of adopted teenagers and their family.
Today marks a momentous moment for the adoption community and their post-adoption needs.
We listened.
We heard you.
And we took action to help.
The new TESSA Teens service will be formally launched in May 2022. Details to follow.
